Division with decimals
When the dividend is a decimal or mixed decimal.
When the dividend is a decimal or mixed decimal, move the decimal point up to the quotient directly above the decimal point in the divident before starting the division.

  2. Move the decimal point in the dividen the same number of places you moved the decimal point in the divisor.
